Monaco® with VMAT: 

Clinicians can reduce IMRT inverse planning time and increase throughput of Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) using new VMAT tools and existing features in the Monaco® IMRT planning system. Monaco with VMAT optimizes single or multiple non-coplanar arcs simultaneously, providing the flexibility and control needed for complex treatment plans.

Delivery of arc plans is as simple as a single button push at the linear accelerator console. Also, gantry directions are automatically sorted, and all control points are seamlessly integrated into a single deliverable arc sequence. VMAT, a major advance in IMRT/IGRT, delivers improved conformity in single or multiple arcs in significantly less time than current techniques.
